The Pakistan Super League, PSL, is a major professional Twenty20 cricket league of 5 franchised member clubs. Headquartered in Lahore, the PSL will become the premier professional cricket league in Pakistan replacing the Faysal Bank T20 Cup.The PSL is widely considered to be the premier professional cricket league in Pakistan. The Pakistan Super League will be organized in 2016 From 4 February To 24 February and will replace the existing Haier T20 Cup. It would involve a total of 23 matches.

“PSL will offer up to USD 1 million (100 million rupees) in prize money while each franchise will be able to draft players and coaches for the team within a budget of 1 million US$,” said PCB.

Here’s the official schedule of Pakistan Super League with PSL T20 schedule and fixtures of all matches that is set to begin early next year just before the ICC Twenty20 World Cup. The inaugural season of PSL T20 in 2016 will begin on 4th February and conclude on 24th, a 21 days action consisting of 23 matches in total. There are five teams participating in the first season including teams from Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar & Quetta. Each team plays the other twice before qualifying for the finals. PSL Schedule 2016 The official schedule of PSL 2016 fixtures has been announced by PCB Committee with the tournament to kick off on from 4th of Feb and finals on 23rd Feb 2016. As per fixtures, a total of 24 matches will be played between the five teams that include 3 playoffs and a final match at Dubai. The tournament will be hosted by UAE in Dubai and Sharjah. There are five teams suggested to participate in the inaugural season of the Pakistan Super League. The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced that for the first 3 years, the league will consist of five teams with a total of 16 players that will include 5 foreign players and 11 Pakistani nationals including at least two emerging players. The PCB has ambitious plans to expand the league in the fourth season to eight teams with a 59-match tournament. these will be played in Lahore, Karachi. The unofficial teams list include 4 provincial teams & one federal team (Islamabad) that are set to take part in the inaugural season.

The official schedule of PSL fixtures is not announced yet but the PCB Committee has once again confirmed the set date to be before the ICC T20 Cricket World Cup 2016 and right after New Zealand tour in Feb starging from 4th of Feb and finals on 24th Feb 2016. The teams and schedule however are still undecided due to various reasons including ICC FTP and domestic cricket fixtures. As per official sources, a total of five teams from all province and one team from Islamabad will participate in the inaugural season of PSL. As per initial confirmation by PCB the inaugural season will be played over 21 days and would involve a total of 23 matches, being at Dubai and Sharjah (Update: Venue changed from Qatar). Teams will play each other twice in a league format before the top four teams qualify for the semi-finals. Once the teams and players are finalized, the schedule will be announced as well.
